GUIDELINES FOR SPONSORED REGISTRATION FOR CIVIL SOCIETY MEMBERS & INDIVIDUALS WORKING IN LUNG HEALTH

Who is eligible to apply:
The Union is opening a second round of submissions to offer a total of 100 sponsored registrations for The Union World Conference on Lung Health 2023 to civil society members, individuals involved in efforts to address lung health, and survivors of TB. Those who are presenting at the Community Connect programme will be given priority.
Only civil society members and individuals involved in efforts to address lung health from low- and lower-middle-income countries (according to the World Bank classification) are invited to apply. Survivors of TB from all countries are invited to apply.
Please note: Travel to Paris and accommodation will not be supported by The Union.
Who will review the applications:
Applications for sponsored registration will be reviewed by The Union Community Advisory Panel (UCAP) and members of The Union’s Coordinating Committee of Scientific Activities (CCSA).
Minimum eligibility criteria:
Individuals from low- and lower-middle-income countries (according to the World Bank classification). Survivors of TB from all countries are invited to apply.
Application Process
By the stated deadline (27 August), candidates must complete the application and submit:
- A maximum of 500 words motivation letter, (formats accepted are PDF, .doc, and .docx) outlining the following:
- Why they want to participate in the Union Conference 2023.
- How their participation in the conference will benefit their organisation and/or community and/or their own personal/professional development.
- A support/recommendation letter from a manager, colleague, or peer (formats accepted are PDF, .doc, and .docx).
Applications are opened from: 18 August
Responsibilities of sponsored registration recipients. Share feedback and experiences with The Union reviewing team in the post-conference report and work with the Communications team to engage on social media during and after the conference (more details will be shared with successful applicants).

Who is eligible to apply:
The Union is opening a second round of submissions to offer a total of 100 sponsored registrations for The Union World Conference on Lung Health 2023 to people who are presenting at the conference, including presenters of abstracts (oral, short oral presentations and e-posters), invited chairs, and invited symposia speakers. Only individuals from low- and lower-middle-income countries (according to the World Bank classification) are invited to apply.
Please note: Travel to Paris and accommodation will not be supported by The Union.
Who will review the applications:
The applications will be reviewed by members of The Union’s Coordinating Committee of Scientific Activities (CCSA), and The Union Department heads and teams.

Presenters at the Conference, including presenters of abstracts (oral and short oral presentations and e-posters), invited chairs and invited symposia speakers.

- Their contribution to the conference.
- Their plans for disseminating the knowledge you gain at the conference.
